Steering

At last I drove an Ultima for first time after years of interested in the car. Amazing machine, very fast and no comparison with ferraris, Maseratis or Porsches. However I thought that the steering wheel was too heavy for everyday use as well as the foot pedals. Can you please tell me , are all Ultimas like that or there are options that will make the car much easier to drive more regularly. I am thinking of buying an Ultima this year but I know think that car can not be use more often than in Weekends.

Also I found the standard Ultima dials dissapointing.

It is a mans car for sure. No power brakes, no power steering, no opening windows; The dials are a personal thing but if you want to go fast, there is little else that can get close ( literally! ).

i agree with Wayne proper car we have all gone soft with our over assisted box's , don,t be such a girl my wife drives our can-am no problem !!!!!!! you could check front tyre pressure's but to be honest once you get used to them they seem to work so sweet but it does take time thats for sure .

The steering is fine when up to speed and has 'feel' which is lost in power steering. There is no power steering option.

Brakes are not servo assisted but work very well.

Clutch is heavy but something has to hold back all that power. The clutch can be made lighter by fitting a different size master cylinder but it has to be done carefully or you will not have enough travel.

Dials can be your choice. I have the digital Stack dash which I like but others don't.
