Looks like it has finally cried enough this morning.
Judging by the bubbles it has failed around the join between the pressure cap fitting and the top of the can.
I assume the can is steel and the cap fitting is brass? (ie a silver solder job?)
Cant imagine there are any spare ones left anywhere....

if a few of you get togther and place an order the gamekeeper will make a batch. its not economically viable for him to make individual ones or keep them in stock...

Typical as I had only just cleaned it up and repainted it last weekend. Doesnt seem to have any corrosion but maybe I forced a hose too much and broke the soldering?
Could even be a job for one of those 'cold-weld' epoxies.

The thread Ketvrin referred to was started by me.
It looks like I was lucky and got the last one on his shelf. I paid £110 in delivery but obviously couldn't comment as to whether the newer stock has a different price.
I did hunt around ~ the only other I could find was with David Gerard that would have cost me nearly £200.
I haven't had time to put mine on yet ~ it's a job for one of those long winter nights.
Kev bought one a while ago. His comment to me was that the very top pipe ( for the overflow) was very short. I doubt if it's possible to make it longer as it seems to be part of the pre-made top but it may be worth asking Steve if a modification is possible.

yes thats right, I was happy overall with the swirl tank but found that the top pipe was too short and so the hose had to be pushed right up to the neck of the tank which gave me a problem getting the hose clamp on and still have room for the pressure cap to tighten (it fouled the hose clamp screw) with some fiddling it worked OK. It would be usefull to have that pipe longer so that the clamp did not end up under the pressure cap.
Still worth the money, I paid £113 I think complete with a cap...
