Find a Goucho Grill for great steaks and all things meaty / excellent Red's accompany the meat ;-)cheers all jerrie
If you want Cuban Tapas try la bodegua del M in kensington.
Chinese - just go to chinatown - or if you want poncy Hakkasan is great (but they trhow you out after 2.5 hours) and has a michelin star.
El Pirata is great for Spanish Tapas - it's in Mayfair near Shepherd's Market.
MEAT - go to La B del M's parent restaraunt Boisdale (scottish food - but the best of it) in Waterloo.

5-8 mins walk (past Kensington Olympia railway line) along to start of Kensington High Street - Blue Lagoon Thai - mighty fine grub!
