Yup! Read it twice in fact. Sounds like you're going to have some fun. Also noted the comment that from the outside it sounds like a (V10) F1 car

Currently struggling to get insurance below £8000 for a Diablo 6.0 that I'm dying to buy from Lambo London, although they have said they might be able to subsidies my insurance cost into the price of the car... still pisses me off that the insurance companies are going on silly like that. I only pay £2500 for the 355 now!!! With modifications etc!

I might just wait to see the Gallardo in the flesh, because if its going to sound anything like an F1 car, then I want it. Sack the doors and the looks, I don't care. I want it to SCREAM!!!

Ninja, have u tried Tesco insurance, Tony got his thru them for his Diablo.....it cost him a mere £1300, an incredible deal

Yep, tried Tesco and Privilege. Tesco ask £8800, while Privilege want to add £5200 or so to my existing policy, so something in region of about £8K.

Everyone else is coming in at silly prices like £12K etc.

Initially I wanted the Murci for a September or March 04 spot but insurance on that is ridiculous, best quote so far has been circa £11K.

Lambo UK reckon Gallardo might be better to insure?

I think its because it is the 6.0 and worth over £120K, as I got a quote for an Diablo SV 99 car worth circa £90K and it came back as just under £4K or so???? Insurance co's make no sense to me!
