Hello, I'm planning on going to le mans for the first time next year so I don't know anything aobut buying tickets etc. The only way I have found to buy tickets for next years race is through a ticket agency. How do I buy tickets directly for the race and for camping as the ACO website doesn't seem to be working. Also when do I need to book my camping tickets by as from what I've read they may have already sold out? What campsite would you recommend as well I don't want anywhere too noisy.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I've been goin with a bunch of guys with Team Langoustine for years and they are a great bunch and know the ins and outs.
Give em a buzz and even if you don't buy your necessaries through them, they will rattle on and tell everything you need to know.
Speak to Pete or Andy

When do the tickets actually become available to purchase? I've "registered interest" with 1st tickets, but they haven't said when I'll be able to make a firm order.

None of the ticket companies have been given their allocation yet. You can pre book your interest with them and then in December you should be able to buy tickets (which will arrive in march/april). Alot of agencies have stopped taking resevations on certain sites based on what they think their allocation will be.

I spoke to Just Tickets yesterday and they had the following left.

Expo
Chapelle
Musee
Blu
Techoparc
Beausejour

I've just reserved a place in Houx with Team Langoustine

For an overview of camp sites take a look at http://www.clubarnage.com/caguide/

Hi there,

To book your tickets you need to log on to www.lemans.org and go to 2008 calender select the pdf file and fill in the form giving your 1st 2nd 3rd choice of campsite, you can either email this to tickets@lemans.org or fax it over,I did this last year and they were very quick to respond and shipped my tickets by fed ex in april/may.
Some campsites will be sold out by the end of lsat years race like MB, we always stay at Arnage little out the way ( but we have a duty driver ) but loads of space and ok toilets. I suggest reading some threads and seeing what the best campsite will suit you.

With reference to your track tickets I buy mine on arrival dont think there is any need to buy before.

If you need any more info drop us a line
