It is wood veneer, Burr Walnut, with I think polyester varnish. Both panels now fitted back in place. 6mm wingnuts, which you can find at B & Q even, are good for some of the harder to reach threaded studs. It really has lifted the interior of the car.
Tinks, yours will be just as good, took 3 weeks overall, all came back nicely packed by DHL, but you may b collecting yours?!
