As you will see from my other post regarding the GT2 tranny, I'm thinking of getting the engine from either Fastco or American Speed.
Has anyone expeirence good or bad with either company. (you can email me if you prefer)

Cheers Dale

Please excuse me for sounding like a broken record (or a skipping CD-ROM for those that don't remember wax), but, have you considered an engine from Jeff Schwartz? He will give you all of he components to go with your engine...be it an original SBC, or an twin turbo LS7.

+1 for Jeff.

I think mine might have been the first LS engine he supplied for an Ultima, I chose him because :

1. He has an award winning Ultima and I wanted to use someone with Ultima experience.
2. At the time his was one of very few with an LS engine in an Ultima, and I needed one for emissions (I am in Hong Kong)
3. When I emailed AS, they offered me a EURO4 compliant engine, then when questioned they said it was a small block and that although they had not done it before, they were "sure" that it would pass EURO4 emissions..... mmmmm. Without EVAP control it wont - so this was a load of bollox.
4. After I spoke to Jeff on the phone I was convinced he was the guy to use. He is a complete car freak, and was always available to discuss and explain things to me during the specification and building phase.

This is mine before he shipped it out...
