Beer in Essex Anyone? - Thursday 26th June

Driving home tonight and I suddenly realised that midsummer's day has passed and the days are already getting shorter. So is anyone up for a beer on Thursday night in Chelmsford so we can make the most of this sunny weather and light evening?

I have spoken to Podie and we are suggesting this Thursday 26th June at the Fox and Raven at Chelmer Village, Chelmsford - the postcode is CO2 6NL for anyone who needs to look up a map. The pub has a large car park - gravel - so take it slow - and good food. We will be there from about 7pm.

Should be able to get there from Brentwood,that will be 2 S3's if Podie turns up,might get a friend to bring his S as well,who said S club was dead.I will e mail Podie at work tomorrow to get directions.

Debs and Paul - I would love to meet up with you in Chelmsford, but it would be awkward. I'm on earlies this week (6 AM to 2 PM). So by the time I got to Chelmsford, all I would have time to do is say hello and then go back home again cos I have to be up at 4:50 AM on Friday morning .

However, if you could come down south a bit further ie Brentwood/Basildon area, then I should be able to make it as I won't have so far to travel. Or you could be even nicer to me and change it to Friday, as I haven't got to go to work on Saturday, so it wouldn't matter what time I was back!

TVRNUT - we will be there from 7 pm so if you want to make it and go home early at 9 we dont mind. Know what you mean about having to get up early tho'. I had to be in Cambridge at 7.30 am this week for a seminar and us girlies take ages to get ready in the morning.
