Is your car putting out more power? Did you have a warning?

Engine is 450 bhp 420 lbs torque and has been for a long time.
No complaint about gearbox failing as l do sprint races with the car and won my class yesterday by a big margin smashing the class record by 3 seconds.
Had a funny noise on my last run but gearbox held out, then on my way home under power in 5th big bang ! then no drive however managed to limp home with other gears.
Just wanting to get a strengthened version now.

he has been doing gearboxes for me for years - top notch quality

last one i had took 4 years of punishement before it let go - most other boxes wouldn't take 4 hours of abuse

can't recommend him enough

What clutch are you going to use?
Cost?

Alex,
Using standard AP Racing which has been fine so will renew the same, don't see the point in changing.
Have ordered complete new box and quaife diff, 1 month lead time.
