A chap with an absolutely stunning 360 Spyder in Jesmond Newcastle.

It was a lovely silver/pale blue colour (although that could have been the sun playing tricks with my eyes)

Had I seen him pull up I would have been serving him with a PH card as well.

If the owner is on here I hope you enjoyed your Mexican chicken pancake. If not, I hope you still enjoyed it, enough so that you want to come back to the cafe and then I can serve you with a PH card and maybe have a nice tip of having a look/listen to your car?

Stunning all the way - well done sir!

Also his frind who arrived later was driving a rather nice Porsche (although they all look the same to me/ I am undereducated in Porsches to be able to tell the difference between them!)

All in all a very nice end to a rather depressing day for me, so thankyou for cheering me up!

I have heard that this guy part ex'd his Mini Copper for the Spyder.

There are more and more Ferrari's in and around Newcastle. I'm looking at a blue 355 Spyder within the next 2 weeks which use to park on Hood Street quite a lot. I also have an appointment at Maranellos on 5th July to have a look at some 355's. So soon there might be another Ferrari to talk about in Newcastle.

Ummm, I've heard a rumour that Maranellos may not perhaps sell the best value used Ferraris in the UK, maybe an idea to check what the other dealers have got.

Having said that I may have been misinformed. Anyone else care to comment on alledged price disparities.

Hope you find exactly the car you are looking for.

Quality excellent, price reflects this VFM is down to personal interpretation. There are certainly cheaper used Ferrari 355s of good quality out there.

If you go to the main Ferrari UK site, they have a Used Car Locator on it (www.ferrari.co.uk/frameworks/locator/index.asp). This, I believe, scans all the stock of the approved dealers country wide.

When I was looking, the number of cars fitting my requirements was about 4. I bought one of them.

No experience of Maranellos, but Graypauls have been top class and I would recommend them.

Cheaper 355s existed in the non-approved network, but none were of the spec I wanted, particularly age so that I could get a decent warranty on it.

Amusingly Graypauls have a blue spider on the locator now...

If you can afford a car newer than 6yrs old, get them to put a Power warranty on it. Unlimited claim ceiling and covers most "non consumables".

Definitely worth having. You can still expect copious amounts of BS should you try and claim on it though

The blue 355 is actually at Graypauls now having a new roof fitted so this must be the same car. I am viewing it through an other Garage which is selling it on the clients behalf. I'm going to Maranellos because I'm going to be in that neck of the woods and thought I'd make the most seeing what they had.
I'm a bit suspicious of this blue 355 Spyder now though.

Well if you do manage to get one (from wherever!) please feel free to drop by Cafe Bar One near to the Cradlewell in Jesmond Vale. Great food, great service - and will give me a chance to oggle at your new beasty!
