Hi,
I am sure a lot of you, more engine proud than myself, have fitted coloured hoses or plug leads. My question is where do I purchase some of these for the S3 without having my pants pulled down. I have seen ACT coolant hoses but yipes £170.00.... are they kidding. The trouble is I have painted my rocker covers a lovely red and need some more colour to go with it, any will do. Black is so boring. I am even going to go down the lines of cleaning up the inlet manifold (bit with EFI written on it I think) and detailing the lettering. Anyone got any pics of a fully cleaned and painted engine? Much appreciated.

I got my hose kit from ACT and it was the same price as you're being quoted. Seems expensive I know but it is for a FULL kit of some 17 odd hoses I think which should replace ALL of the ones on your car.
Oh, had mine in black which isn't a standard stock colour so had to wait a while for ACT to get the hoses in for me.
