My "Anyone going from central London" thread was getting pretty confusing with two different convoys being arrange on Saturday and Sunday!!... so I've set up a new thread.

SATURDAY CONVOY...

I'd suggest meeting at the Mylett Arms, Western Avenue (A40) which is on the left hand side about a mile after the Hanger Lane Gyratory.

They're open from 7am and do a fried breakfast (so you can shift those hangovers from the Friday night!)

Access to the Mylett Arms is via Perivale Lane.

As for meeting time, Saturday morning at 9.30am sounds good... and we'll aim to leave by 10am.

www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=516500&Y=183000&scale=5000&coordsys=gb

Hope this is OK for everyone... or is it a little bit early in the morning?

Although time is a tad on the early time!!!!
I need my beauty sleep

How's about meet at 10.30am , ready to leave for 11am 'ish? as it will only take about 1 1/2 hours to get there via the scenic route..Just in time for lunch....liquid variety...

Above is simply my time request, please feel free to ignore, most people do..

Buster - how could we leave the Bentley behind!!!

JonK - can you turn off the A40 direct onto Perivale lane, or do you have turn off onto central parade further on?

After protestations from some people about needing their beauty sleep, and probably having a killer hangover (you know who you are... Salty) we're going to meet at the pub at around 10:30am and leave around 11:00am. Hope this works for everyone...

I think you have to turn off left after the pub onto Argyle Road and then turn left onto Perivale Lane. (that's what the bloke in the pub told me...)

Hope them cars are nice and polished!

Going via the A422 sounds like a good plan. Don't want to be stuck on the motorway for miles and miles...

I've uploaded a route to www.tvrsseries.com/events/pistonfest_convoy

Let us know what you think... I'll try and map in the speed cameras as well! ;-)
