TVR Driving Experience Day! (Stratford-Upon-Avon)
Discussion
Hello There,
I was thinking of maybe doing a TVR Tuscan driving experience day at Shakespeare County Raceway through trackdays.co.uk as shown here ---> http://www.trackdays.co.uk/Driving-experiences/Dri...
it;'s the TVR Double experience and seems perfect for what i want! however my main question is has anyone done this particular experience and what was it like, i mainly want to know whether they actually let you drive the cars full throttle or whether it's one of those nancy car experience where they only let you do 3000rpm.
Also has anyone been to this track and what is it like? is one lap quite big or quite small?
thanks in advance.
Blake

I did one of these as a Lambo/Ferrari combo with another company at Nr stratford
If you are used to TVR levels of performance and have a quick car of this level already then it IMHO it does not feel good value if it is your money.
If you are not used to the performance I would imagine it would be very enjoyable indeed and a session to remember
The instructor tells you when to change and that can be early, depending on them. The course was short and the track very bumpy
The highlight of my day was and ex formula one driver taking my car around...astounding levels of skill and I learnt a lot and for me that was the best bit.
The 360 was disappointing (could have been condition) in terms of how it felt and sounded. I would have the Lambo though
loads of grunt and seemed quite recoverable when I was over enthusiastic
Hope that helps...

thanks for the reply! can you tell me what company you did yours with so i can have a look to see if that may be a better experience for me to do!
Also the fastest car i've driven so far is a vauxhall Astra 1.4 and a renault megane 1.4.. So a TVR or equivalent will feel pretty damn good
