The Huby and Sutton Show takes place c10 miles North of York. Part of the show is a display of classic cars. Last year 9 members of NYTVRCC went - anbody else interested?

The format of the day will be:

* Meet near York ring road
* Travel to show in convoy, display cars with other sports/classic vehicles
* Two free tickets tickets to the show for all entrants
* All cars displayed receive a commemorative plaque or rosette
* Leave show mid-afternoon for a run-out around North Yorkshire's finest countryside, stopping at a pub or two on the way
* Maybe (depending on interest) end up somewhere for a bite of supper

The show is on 27 July, and closing date for entries is 18 July. If anyone is interested and has not got an entry form, drop me an e-mail via my profile.

Thanks Gemini. Now, if I mentioned the young ladies in their tight fitting riding gear, do you think that would prompt more interest? Seem to recall you finding the girlies worthy of mention in your Sprint report last year ...

Meet at 1045 on 27 July in the layby on the nearside of the A19 about 1 mile
north of the York ringroad (A1237). The layby is just before the Jarvis
hotel. We'll depart at 1100 so as to arrive in convoy at the Show by 1115.

Depart the show at 1500 (maybe a bit later depending on how we feel) for a
drive around North Yorkshire, (including a stop or two), route to be
provided at the show.

For those who are interested, we'll end up back at the New Inn in Huby for
supper. There will be an "early bird" menu at £7.95 for two courses or
£8.95 for three. There is a choice of 7 starters (the usual suspects e.g.
soup, garlic mushrooms) and 16 mains (4 fish, 3 chicken, 4 meat, 3 pasta, 2
vegetarian) including, for example, fish pot, chicken chasseur, steak and
black sheep ale pie, tuna pasta bake, chinese style stir fry. Black Sheep
and Timothy Taylor on draft. I can vouch for the quality of the food and
drink, having partaken there many times.
