well it wasnt the gearbox mount

finally got the S out for a run yesterday , having replaced the gearbox mount has not cured the vibration in the gear stick, and i think the new exhaust mounts ive fitted are not long enough as getting a knock/vibration on the chassis under acceleration , but at least its running at the moment which is good for the propsed house move. i think the winter will be some hours spent on prop shaft UJ's and replacement engine mounts and a new/refurbed rad whilst i am at it, i suppose sending the wheels off for a refurb whilst its on axle stands makes sense as well. and with the wheels off i could upate the suspensions and bushes and fit the anti roll bar rose joints i picked up at rockingham......and if that lot doesnt stop the gear stick from wobbling .....i'll start a new list
i'm enjoying keeping up with everyone elses efforts even if mine isnt on the road, so keep up the good posts.
