The S went to a new home tonight

I sold the S tonight to Bill from Kent.. "Moffspeed" It has been a great 3 years of ownership and I will miss the car... but life moves on.

Thanks to everyone for the adivce and help on the forums.... I will still be around..

Paul, just got it into the garage and it fits nicely. Those 3 spoke alloys off my Sierra fit perfectly and tomorrow's project will be to fit an Escort Cosworth-style 2 tier wing to the bootlid. The exhaust sounds fantastic but will be replaced with a couple of chrome siders which I kept when I sold the Cobra replica. Karen loves it but would prefer it to be in lime green to match her new Beetle so a trip to the spray shop is on the cards.

Only joking......a great trip home from Maldon to Aldington and at 1am I'm still grinning, rest assured the car has gone to a good home. Thanks once again for your kindness and attention to detail in doing "the deal" and enjoy the sailing, regards Bill.

Really sorry to hear she's gone out of region too as she was a cracker.

Please call in at the Meets to say hello though, don't be a stranger.

Congratulations to the new owner....... Please bring her back to Mid Essex occasionally when you fancy a blat out

A trip back to Essex via the Dartford tunnel, yep I think I could be tempted...

Could i suggest a 6ft long very bendy aerial, and some very large furry dice.Should set the chrome side pipes off a treat.Also when driving with the roof down{as it should always be} the obligatory chubby brown helmet, leather bomber jacket, and white silk scarf should make you stand out from the crowd, or depending on where you drive it, blend right in.
On a more serious note, welcome to S ownership, most of us are friendly,except during those dark winter S free months.

Moffspeed, take absolutely no notice of TJC46 and his Essex slurs........I'll have you know we are a not at all 'furry dice' types........

However, should a lady accompany you she will of course have to wear the obligatory white stilettos....

Would be great to see the 'S' again.
