2007 A4 Issues
Discussion
I've got an 07 S-line Special Edition [170] which is generally very nice, however there are a couple of issues with it.
The first is the groaning sound from the power steering on left lock, which is a known Audi fault and 'the factory are working on it'.....honest guv!! I find this fault very surprising / annoying because they are just about to bring the new A4 out and they still have a fault with the old one? the old model has been around for a while hasnt is so why are there still faults???
The second issue is the clutch judder when pulling away. I did hear that this was a problem on older cars but mine is a new one and any modification should have been incorporated into my car.....shouldn't it?
Anyone else suffering / putting up / p****d off with either of these faults?
Cheers guys

I have a 2006 A4 2.0 S line tdi 140 and it too has a groan on full right hand lock but it doesnt worry me.
As for the clutch judder I thought it was common forr thhat to happen as this is my thirrd A4 and they have all done this my last two were 2002 and 2004, I was going to change it for a 170 but was told not too as they are not as responsive as the 140.
Also thhey are as you say bringing out a brand new A4 so will wait to see what that looks like, as I have been done with thhe last two. The dealer giving me a good discount thhen within two to three months of buying them they change the models either body or engine.
