Don't panic too much boys, still in two minds with this one, its more of a 'see what happens' kind of thing.
There's plenty I would like to do to my S (cosmetic mainly & some performance) but it's having the knowledge and more importantly justifying the money to spend on it.
I'm very torn at the moment......sell it.........keep it......get a Griff.......dont get a Griff.....sell both my cars and get a better daily use car!!!!!!!!!
Doesn't help that it ran sooooo well (and continues to)at Rutland the other weekend

Hmmmmm, very valid point there Chris about insurance. I was getting quotes of up to £2000 for the S on normal insurance, compared to £340 (inc breakdown) on a classic policy.
I am very un-decided, and because of that and the fact it is a good car (and I do love driving it), I would only except a very sensible offer on it.

For what its worth (and at the risk of upsetting people on here), if you want to do something else, go for it, you may regret not doing it later. You can always come back to the S if you didnt like your adventure.
I used to ride motorbikes and ummed and aarrhhed before getting rid, but in the end I gave it a go and now I am hooked on the S.

I am in no position to comment as I have not driven a TVR other than the S, however many say that the others are a different driving experience, with a bit less of the seat of the pants feedback that the S has. Only going on what others have said. 5 litres of V8 does sound kind of interesting though.....
Might be worth a chat with Longers, he's had a Chim.
Also valid point from Gozzy, its not irreversible if you want to return to the fold, its only money......
