spark plug gap?

Jut wondering if anyone knows the correct plug gap measurement for a 6.3 Chevy using NGK BRK5E plugs.

What ignition system?
The ignition system will play a greater part in the gap choice.

Its an MSD system

AS plugs (I think Excell or summink) with MSD are 0.035" (Andy wrote it on the box for me when I changed mine last).

Ta Pete, odd thing btw is the car (on the tacho/speedo) runs 2000rpm at 75 mph -even allowing for a degree of error thats way over what the standard G50-20 box would spit out. Im thinking someone has changed the top ratios in this box which is nice as it theoretically means 243.75mph at the redline of 6500rpm. (estimate output is 550 - 600bhp at the fly

Get a GPS unit in the car and see just how accurate your speedo is. You might find you are 2000 @ 65. If it's teh factory speedo, they are very easily adjusted and you can get them accurate to take any guess work outta gatso encounters.

Got a gps and will do exactly that tomorrow.

Just checked it Peter, and its 34 miles per thousand Rpm on the GPS, which theoretically is 221 mph
