Fuses

Hello all,

Got in the S3 this morning and found that not only is the light that shows my headlights are on not working but also none of my dash illumination lights are working either! Are all these on the same fuse? If so, what rating is it and where do I find the fuse box?

yes they are all on the same fuse... look here

its a 7.5 fuse

the fuse box is stored (stuffed ?) up behind the carpet beneath the glove box. you will be impressed (not) when you see how tidy it is in there

Result. Strange thing is though is also mentions indicators on that one and they were working!!! Still it is a TVR so anything can happen. I will get the 10amp and give it a shot. I think I know where you are talking about with the fuse, I had a look once.....aghhhhhhh.

Mine also went just before Rockingham, not as 'bendable' as i used to be, could see the fuses but getting them out proved impossible for me.

After a bit of investigation i realised that taking the glove box out resulted in easy access.

Just my two'penth.

I was fairly sure it was a V8 fuse box as it has two resistors fitted

After much playing with fuses and wires last night the fuse that had gone happened to be listed in the manual as a 7.5amp side lights! But, hey it worked. Thanks for all your advice, the fewer trips to the fuse box the better I think. Mine was tucked high up behind the glove box and screwed in there.

Sorry all and apologies to Chris, in my attempt to assist Peter I posted pictures that I did not realise were not even of my fusebox - they were pictures I had saved from a post when I had my electrical problem and were in fact originally posted by Barkychoc - so it is a V8 box (with the resistors).

I hope they were of more help than hinderance...
