It is November 8th - somewhere in the Midlands - details are to be announced by Ted in early July - after Pistonfest.

Oh I see. That does make it clash a little with the mini Le Mans.
Oh well, been there once this year, perhaps I should visit the midlands instead, especailly since Im gonna miss PistonFest03.

It's the Pistonheads formal gathering, where everyone gets dressed up in a tux and gets drunk in a hotel somewhere

Bob - I'm beginning to wonder if tickets have been on sale but it everyone is sworn to secrecy as Ted doesn't want Bob the Planner and Big_M to go.

Sorry guys. I was meant to be designing the tickets this week. As soon as I've got them sorted I can get it all up on the site.

I did confirm the band this week (10 members! ) so it's all coming together...

Bob - the holiday was brilliant - felt like I had been away for weeks and not 10 days. Did have a heart stopping moment at Waterloo when we met the other travellers on the tour - thought we had booked with Saga. I tend to forget that I am only 6 years off Saga Membership myself

We want to do another one next year - probably the Italia Express. Travelling by train in Europe is a very close second to going in the TVR - such wonderful scenery and no stress such as where's the next toilet/coffee stop.

Well I've been thinking about this one for a while. My concern is distance from home. Is it normal for folk to stop the night? Looking at the pics from BT&P 2002 people were, well let's say merry. Definitely a case of 'room for the night and drive home in the morning'.

And tux!! Bugger, I'm with Denny on this one.

By the way, thanks for choosing 8th November, that's my birthday. I'll be %# years old. Does this mean I have to wear my birthday suit?

Staying is most definately the form. Drinking went on until the sun was about to come up last time...

Venue has accomodation so that's not a problem.

As for the 'I look naff in Black Tie' comments, I'd simply say that when everyone is in the same gear it's all a damn good laugh. Nothing snobby about it, just a bit of a giggle. It's Larry in the 'lounge' suit that feels out of place

Tickets should be on sale before the end of the week.
