VW have some subsidaries: Bentley and Audi.

Audi win 3 straight Le Mans.
Bentley introduce a new model... then win Le Mans ahead of Audi.

VW corporate Team orders? What do you reckon?

Nice theory, but the simple fact is that no Audi customer team has beaten Bentley before, at LM.

Nah not team orders, but VW certainly put the development effort into Bentley for this year, and it was almost certainly to help promote the marque prior to the GTs launch.

Some of the people who worked on it are apparently back working on the Audi for next year
