I'm going to a car club track day next year which is limited to 98db, does anyone know where/if/how I can get it tested beforehand?

It is a road car, but is quite loud, and I don't want to get there and be told I can't drive it.

Thanks

John

If I can remember who I leant my db meter to (or which 'secure' hidey hole Ive hidden it in in my garage paperbag), as I work in central Brighton, if you can get the car to me/ a mutually agreeable spot, I'll test it for you smile

There is something going on most weekends at Goodwood. If you turn up there they seem quite happy to test it for you.
This Sunday is breakfast club so nothing running on track but if you turned up as they were opening the gates and then went to the office under the clock tower by the pit exit you may talk someone into getting the meter out. Found them to be very friendly and approachable. I guess you don't do that job unless you like cars.
