TVR on Fire outside Dover

Past a TVR after etting off the ferry at Dover at about 6pm yesterday. It was spitting Oil from the left pipe, told the Guy, The a guy in a porsche was waving at him out of his window. Then I see flames under the car and a lot of smoke. All I then saw was a mad dash to the hard sholder and huge amounts of black smoke. Does anyone know if he was alright.

Sunday afternoon on the way back at some road side parking place I met some guys around a Chimaera which was losing oil. That one was red. They were in a group so thought it was fine when I offered help. I hope it's not the one.
