Black Noble M400 for sale at Dove House

Hello again, sorry for my repeated posting on this part of the forum I'm sure you regulars are fed up of reading my posts!!...
Anyway i'm looking at buying either of the 2 m400's Dove House have for sale. More than likely the 2004 black one they have.
Does anyone know the history of this car?
Any help would be muchly appreciated

Hi Iain - I don't know the history of the black one other than 'It was well sorted'. I bought the blue M400 after wrestling over which of the two to go for! Nothing in it really at the end, I would have bought either. Go and have a look at it they are a really nice bunch. Speak to Simon and he'll give you the full run down on it. I was passing by on Thursday and called in. They have some fantastic stock in, really

Yep, that was my car. Sold it back to dovehouse after 7 months, fantastic car, I spent a few quid on it and it was worth every penny.

I had the ecu re-mapped and upgraded the wiring loom and fuel pump etc, hard pipe conversion and dump valve fitted.
Never tracked it, just weekend car really as I have other cars.

When you say an odd sound, what do you mean exactly? I'm in the process of doing a deal on this car, I will be trading in though. They have agreed to get the car serviced before the sale and it comes with a years warranty so i'm not really that worried. I'm only asking because I can't go down and see or drive the car in the flesh.
Will be asking about the wheels as the previous owner mentioned that to me also.
Does anyone else live nearby Dove House, it would be great if someone else could give it the once over for me?

reckon a budget airline, ryanjet or whatever they are called would fly down to stansead. dove house aint too far from stanstead, you could jump in a budget hire car at the airport and if i remember corr4ectly be at dove house in an hour or so.

I'll be calling in at Dovehouse later this week. I've had a serious look at the black one recently and it looks okay to me. I can have them take me out on a test drive when I'm there if you would like and give it a proper 'once over' and let you have a list of what I discover.
As for the odd sound - I can vouch for the guys at Dove and say that it would be sorted to your satisfaction before they handed it over to you.
They have looked after me really well during the buying and after sales care of the blue M400 that they had.

Good advice. I at least got a test drive when Noble had a sales presence in Scotland - so knew what I was buying when I eventually bought a 3R a few months after that.
Sure the car is fine if they are going to service it for you,but you need to look at it and drive it yourself and not let somebody do it for you .I drove the grey one first which was not good , but the black one was the better car and they would have changed the alloys from the other car, which i think are the best colour anyway for a M400.Good luck!
