So, if TVR were to rise phoenix like from the ashes..

What TVR model from the past would you resurect, what engine would it have, would you buy it and why choose that model.

Excluding current models the Tuscan and Sagaris.

Tamora with 4Ltr sorted engine (actually any sorted large engine would do new "M" engine evil ) and a 6 speed box smile

i'd just bring the Cerbera back as it was. the styling/design is spot on, the AJP8 provides more than adequate performance (a 6 speed 'box might go down well, or to keep up with the newer supercar league they could properly develop the sequential 'box that was hinted for the Typhon and offer it as an option)
after all if it ain't broke...

Actually - sounds like a great idea..

I was thinking along the lines of a Griff with a modified back end (as it was never great) to allow better storage (like Chimaera has) and a nice sorted Chevy V8 - 400 bhp would be plenty and doors modified to include side protection.

I'm sure i saw a picture somewhere from the factory with the shell of a prototype targa Sagaris - with a couple of removeable panels in the roof, and a buttress rear similar to an XJS. It didn't quite look right, but it was definately a move in the right direction IMHO of course smile

I have a root round for that photo

Yes - it does look very nice .. as the boot is unusable - it could do with a 'TR' type KAAM tail arangement - so it had a usable boot..

I'd get my cheque book out !

T350 Convertible powered by a well sorted 4.5 Speed Six

Or a traditional V8 powered Updated Chimaera

Or maybe a Mk2 Cerbera
