F355 stopped on M20

It was me Sunday evening looking at my very sad and stationary 355 Spider. A rear tyre blew out at 90 mph and obviously the Ferrari supplied foamy stuff was useless.

We were picked after calling the Ferrari breakdown service. All OK till they asked it it was petrol or diesel!!!!!

Is it true that Ferrari always cover their cars when loading onto a flat bed to maintain the air of them not being unreliable?

Or is that just a man in the pub rumour?
