Size of thread in headers

I don't have the car with me so could someone tell me the size I would require for an O2 sensor ? Thanks.

If you've got the standard ultima exhaust, then there is already a blanked off boss with an allen key fitment, for an O2 sensor on each side. Might require a bit of red-hot spanner to release though!

I know but do you know what size it is ? Or better still I'm looking at the Bosch wideband sensor - will that fit without adapter ?

The thread size is M18 x 1.5mm, this is a standard so all should fit fine.

Your not wrong Tim! I had to heat mine until they were glowing red to get them out. Like Phil says they are a standard size M18 x 1.5mm. I had to buy a tap of that size to run through the welded in boss to restore the thread. The last owner had fitted stainless bungs that were a real sod to remove.

Are you looking ar fitting an AFR gauge then Andy? Always a wise move!

Yes I am - Irrespective of whether I go supercharging as I plan to do some work first on the carb to try to dial out some drivability issues.
