I actually think that's fantastic.
Who can't say there's some kind of fascination in watching a car - any car - getting crushed? The footage is compelling as you watch how bits of the car respond to the crushing, and it looks brilliant at the end. I'd have it on display in the office.
It's a mass produced car getting crushed. What's to complain about. Is it art? Yes, I'd say so.
Love it.

ART lacks a satisfactory definition. It is easier to describe it as the way something is done -- "the use of skill and imagination in the creation of aesthetic objects, environments, or experiences that can be shared with others" (Britannica Online) -- rather than what it is.
So, no matter what I do as long as I share "it" with others it's art?
I farted in a lift full of people the other day. I don't know if they enjoyed it but they certainly shared the experiance.
