I use a Dell 22" widescreen flat panel monitor, it was a free upgrade from the 20" when I bought my new system a couple of months ago. Once you've used one nothing else matches up it is bl--dy awesome. Also have a TV card fitted so can watch full screen or screen in screen and it is a superb display.
Buy a large widescreen, you'll not regret it

I use 800 x 600 on a cheap laptop when not at home.... upto 1600x1200 depending on which PC I'm using.
Your current site works ok at low res but I suggest that you set your PC to 800x600 and try some of the diary links on your site and see the problems that can be encountered.
I've typed this at arms length at 800x600 on my desktop... now going back to 1600x1200...

If it's my "diary links" that you refer to, that's because I deliberately set the site up so that it would look much the same at all resolutions - ie fixed width centralised in the screen, although I had to make it bigger than 800 otherwise I thought it looked crap. So it wasn't a mistake.
I didn't realise that there are still people who use 800 by 600 so didn't worry too much about it! If it's that much of a problem I can make it fit anything...

It's tough making a site that meets all requirements regards browsers and screen size - you'll never please everyone especially when they use things like Linux. Most of the time I'm on a 1600x1200 desktop but when visiting the lady I use an old 800x600 because I don't want to spend money on a new one. Anyway, I can live with your site as it is and would rather your site was there at 800x600 than not at all. After all, it is your fault that I picked the S as a replacement for my Westfields. Reading your diary made it clear that there was huge potential for quality garage time and the first year has proven that.

1680 x 1050. Eventually got the S4 back late last year. Unfortunately, the car has been of the road most of the time since, due to series of faults with the restoration. One of these days I will get some photos done (to busy taking pictures of everyones elses cars & bikes) so that you can add them to the ones already on your site.
