Well Ken we finally got to meet up at Snake Pass Inn in both Tivs (last time was in other cars). Nice to see you again mate and your Tiv. Thanks for the engine mounting shims - they are much better than I would have lashed up myself.

Had a good (if bumpy) drive back in the dark - did you see that nutter walking along the road in the dark in dark gear I nearly collected him ! there was thick mist coming over Holme Moss which was interesting.

I hope you got home safely

is there anyone else in that area that would join us for a half next time? its not a private function so you would be most welcome...

Yes it was good to meet up , and what a great road there (and back) Its a good job you were in front of me as I honestly didn't see that pratt walking along until after you went round him I instinctively followed you and even then missed him by less than a foot, he didn't even have the sense to walk facing oncoming traffic, no doubt someone will turn him into underseal soon.
There are one or 2 people local who may read this and fancy a drive up there one evg, cant remember their names but one lad lives in Glossop and the other is a relative newcomer who posted on here about a month ago.
