Hello all,
After what seemed like the longest month of my life since putting the deposit down I finally picked up my new T350c from Drivestyle on Wednesday morning.

I got a lift over there with a mate and took a camera along fully intending to take some photos to remember the day by. But as we pulled up outside the showroom ‘my’ car was parked right there and was the first one I noticed even though it was next to their bright orange Sagaris demonstrator. From then on the whole process of signing the paperwork and handover etc. went by in a complete blur. I just wanted to get in and drive off.
I didn’t manage to take any photos the whole day – I’m gutted now as it will almost certainly never happen to me again.
Sorry to Steve, Phil and the fella with a bucket and sponge at Drivestyle if I seemed a bit business like, I was slightly overwhelmed and keen to drive off in my dream. Thanks guys.

I’ve done about 350 miles so far and have enjoyed every one of them. I cannot help but laugh out loud at random times 'cos I cannot believe it’s actually mine!!

Running in strictly as per the instructions so it has been a huge exercise in self control, really looking forward to giving it a bit more after 1000 mile service.

The reaction from joe public is fantastic, 100% positive. The attention it gets is something that might take while to get used to and my family think I’m mad.

I’ve had my first few fault codes (water temp sensor and A/C) and the expected high water temps scares but no more (fingers crossed). The codes reset straight away, water temp dropped as soon as I got out of traffic. All fluid levels have been checked a couple of times. I reckon all is OK but will phone dealer tommorow for peace of mind.

I feel a long and special bond forming already.

Swanny

PS
I’m writing this sat in the garage looking at her.

Welcome to the fold.

I assume that your T350 was made at Blackpool which means it must have been one of the last ones to be made being that it is brand new.

Enjoy

So who has finished building this car and does it have the 3 year warrenty?
I can only see it as good news that people who paid deposits are getting there cars at last.

yes I'd love to know who made this car...

If it's "TVR" where was it made? Blackpool? Its is Smolenski's firm or...

I haven't been keeping up with this so it would be lovely to hear that something of the TVR marque has survived and is producing cars...

Its new as in newly registered not newly built, I guess it was one of the last Blackpool cars. I hope TVR's are put back into production no matter where it may be but 'made in Britain' is important to me with this one.
Are there still people with deposits paid but no car? Sincerely hope not.
It has a 3 year warranty.

A warranty provided by the dealer I am guessing?

Enjoy the car, it is a great feeling isn't it. 100 smiles an hour. 2 years since I picked up my Tamora, and still find myself muttering to myself how great the car is....

They've ALL been made in Blackpool there are NO cars out there assembled anywhere else.

Anyway the T350 is not in anyone's plans to build new, Tuscan II and Sagaris only.

Yes there are several people with deposits paid and no car that I know of..

I hope the 3 year warrenty is with the dealer or through an external policy as the TVR ones are useless.
