How much for the last UK M400??
Discussion
Ok, don't panic I'm not selling, yet!!
The question relates to my insurance company. The company I use agrees a value at the start of each year of insurance and if the car is written off that is paid out. Simple question, what value should I use for the next year? I've looked in the classified section but mine was built much later than most available and if I were to try to replace it I couldn't, cos as far as I'm aware it was the last UK model. Delivered November 2006.
It is totally standard as delivered (at the moment) but obviously was the 2006 spec. Altered exhaust (no chocolate bracket), altered chassis/floor pan shape across the footwells, upgrade on stereo and speakers, factory fitted arch stone chip guards etc etc. Also fitted with the usual extras, tints, sat nav, speed/black spot system, greyed side repeaters, phone system blah de blah de blah
4500 miles and never tracked.
Any sensible suggestions gratefully received. I'll ask MV what they would retail it at as well but thought you with 'The Knowledge' would be the ones to ask.
Cheers
Peter

Just as with the first and last M12 GTO's, GTO 3's and GTO 3R's sold and the first M400 sold, it has much more significant historical importance to any car collector than other Nobles. If preserved in it's stock form, the value will only go up, if you hang onto it and keep meticulous records, IMHO. It would also be a plus if you were to get a letter from the factory (preferably signed by Lee Noble himself) verifying that it is the last M400 sold to the public in the UK (for any future collector). Might be much easier to get that from the factory now, rather than later.
Just to give you some perspective, 1G Racing/Rossion kept the last M400 built for the US and they will not sell it. I assume that they will also keep the first Rossion for the same reason. Of course that just means that the last M400 and the first Rossion actually sold to the public in the US have similar collector value as the ones they kept.

Only kidding matey!
I tend to agree with Cacobra, try to get Lee to sign a letter stating it is the last ever M400. Could defo help at sale time.
I too would recommend keeping it totally stock. Although I doubt if upgrading the IC or popping on a Roush zorst would detter any buyers. Those things can eailsy be undone.
