Nothing on TVR Site!

Just thought I'd take a look at TVR's website to see what info they've got on the Le Mans challenge and whether they're going to be posting inside info on progress, and I can't even find any mention of Le Mans on there.

Am I not looking at the right site, or have they decided that it wouldn't be feasible to keep the site up-to-date as the whole company will be in France?

Seems like a bit of a missed opportunity to me.

No, unfortunately financial constraints and family commitments mean I can't make it, but one day I'll get there to witness TVR's ongoing glory (undoubtedly!).

Thanks for the comments on the S. The digital camera is quite flattering, but I recently had a coming together with the side of another car (since that photo) which resulted in a full front end respray (plus mirrors for good measure ) so it's now looking v. tidy (although a few minor stone chips have started appearing already).

Cant you get some stone chip guard (transparent) paint for the front end?
Sure I've seen it available somewhere.

Anyway, best not turn this in to another S thread.

(plus I have decided to attempt to do some work instead of chatting on PH or constantly updating the LM webcam! Dont worry though, it wont last!)

Whats this about 30Kg extra and reduced restrictor? I thought TVR had built enough by now to avoid the penalty.

Yep thats right, they are restricted. Didnt sell enough cars in time.
