Off to the 'Ring!!

I am going on my first ring trip this weekend, it a combination of being excited and nervous! I am going to take it VERY easy I am not aiming for a specific time or anything just want to get round in one piece!
Im going with some people from work, nice mix of cars - my cerb, 2x carrera GT's, E30 M3 a newer M3 and a race prepped M3. Going on Saturday morning for driving on sat pm, sun and mon day. Wish me luck!

You'll be fine Mark as long as you know your own limits.
Trick is, early on, let anyone who is harrassing you behind go past. In fact, many will pull over 100 yards after the barrier and let the nutters clear off. Its such a long lap that the experienced/fast will shoot off, and you'll leave the slow cars/novices behind, and settle into your own pace (sometimes with a 'buddy') Dont be suprised if you, despite it being busy, end up only seeing half a dozen other cars/bikes on the lap.
If you can get someone with knowledge of the track to sit in for your first one or two laps to give you pointers then all the better.
I treated it like a realy fast drive out in the country rather than a balls out race and loved every minute of it. Going back next month
