Hi,
I am 16 years old and have just left school, Im suppose to be going to college to study a national diploma in Media Studies.
I have a passion for cars, especially the Ferrari's and Lamborghini's of this world. I am thinking of applying for an apprentiship at the Porsche garage up the road from me but I'm not sure what I'm doing and have know idea whether i would find 'How the engine works' intesting. In my books, If an engine sounds nice then its a good engine but I know that is not right. lol.
I have no idea what i want to do in later life because I only have a very small amount interests. Cars and football, THATS IT!!!
All this is kind of worrying considering I have to earn a enough money to be able to afford a Lamborghini, Ferrari or Aston Martin at one stage in my life.
Sorry If you feel Ive wasted your time but I seriously need advice!
Thanks in advance,
Olie

good luck buying a lambo on a mechanics wage mate unless you aim high and get your own business. If you dont know about engines it doesnt matter you will learn during training. I was training as a mechanic and worked for some real dic*s up to you mate just make sure your hearts in it other wise dont bother. good luck

Get back to school mate and work your nuts off. Best advice I can offer.
Excellent advice.By the time you are 25 you will probably want something
else anyway.

Don't worry about the Ferraris and Lambos anyway
- they aren't all they are cracked up to be in reality.
They are hand build Italian sports cars, with all the
fragility that implies, cost a fortune to buy, run and maintain and you
can't use very much of the performance on the UK
public road anyway.
Why not aim for a Ford or a Volkswagon by the time
you are 25 ?
Much more realistic.

What exactly is it that you do? I'm at a point in my career where I'm not sure what to do next. Might benefit from some input!
