Fuel Pressure Regulator - Vacuum Pipe?

Hi,

My first post so please be gentle with me!

Had my s3 for a week now & haven't stopped smiling... a truly awesome car!

Anyway, the vacuum pipe that is connected to the fuel pressure regulator is free at the other end?I'd normally expect to see a nipple on the plenum chamber or some other vac source but I can't find anywhere to connect it despite hours of searching. A thorough trawl of the Steve Heath bible hasn't enlitened me either.

Any chance that someone could take a quick look at theirs to see where the other end connects? It's driving me nuts!

It goes to the front of the plenum near the TPS and idle speed control valve.... well that is where mine goes but then these were assembled by TVR so nothing can be guaranteed. There should be a little pipe sticking out but I'm wondering if someone has blocked it off as a way of trying to get better throttle response.

It should connect under the throttle linkage cover just downstream of the throttle iirc.

Thanks for your help guys, I found it's exactly where you said, but the way it's hidden from view I don't think I'd have spotted it in a milion years if you hadn't pointed me in the right direction!

Car is generally much smoother now at all engine speeds and that's yet another job that can be ticked off the list...
