anyone know how much a mini-fridge will cost in Carrefour? Please

...and while we're about it how the hell do you drive there, from Houx, when the one way system is in place (it's easy enough when you have free access to all roads).

I bought a 12V powered cool box last year for about 40 Euro which works pretty well

I was looking at the 12v coolers... how long can you run one (engine off) before flattening the battery?

It depends on the Ah (Amp/hour)size of your battery and the size of the engine in your car. I have an electric cooler box which uses 4amps when running, so my 96Ah battery should last 24 hours before going flat, but if I wanted to reliably start my car ( V12 engine, lots of cranking amps required), I would not leave it on for more than a few hours with the engine off, IMHO.

Drive out of Houx, Turn right, turn right again, turn right again at bottom of road, go under circuit, turn right at cross roads, drive past burn outs & front of circuit, follow road ahead, then take left fork and you will be in the right area.

Alternatively take a cool box and buy some ice, or just go and buy cold beers from the camp site 'deli'

Anyone with a Macro card should pay them a visit quickly.
Just bought a large PEPSI badged cooler ... cools 20 degrees below ambient temp.
Initial tests proove that it will chill warm stella in aprox 4 - 6 hours. perfect for the evening BBQ if you buy lunchtime !

Bennno,

Yep that's the route I know (spent 2000 and 2001 in Maison Blanche so it's up the road, under the motorway fly over then about a mile up that road), unfortunately as lots of cars are coming off that motorway the close the underpass so you can't go the direct route.

The way I wanted to go was out of Houx, left then right up the side of the campsite outside houx, under the track (Bar on the left) and then to the end where you get to a major junction - from this point on I'm lost
