Accident Nurburgring

I believe there was a very serious accident on the Nurburgring this last week involving an ac Cobra, has anybody any further information ?

Highflyer, I was there on 24th August and didnt hear anything about a cobra... there were 3 accidents on the day though, one very serious...

Yeah 3rd hand information, the cobras are now Vipers, and it wasn't anything to do with them, found out last night there were three accidents one poss fatal, were you there ripping it up with the Westi, as the guy I know, said it had British plates, everything else was mainly German, two white Porsche specials one red wheels and roll cage the other blue, and an old battered pickup truck which was lowered big wheels and an awsome engine as it virtually tranced everything there, hoping to go next year.
Just read your thread, obviously NOT the Westi.

no, I was in my yellow GTR, ironically there was a blue and orange GTR there also (with orange wheels) the guy came and looked me up. He was from spain. We had a good chat about Ultimas in general, whilst the ring was closed. I would recommend going, you should also pay a visit to the Schumacher karting track, thats a right laugh. Very well set up, and the restraunt above is first class.

no, didnt get one as he was parked in another car park. Got he impression he is a racer though, so an internet search may bring it up. I'll have a look.

I was there this weekend too (though in a Fiat Panda rather than an Ultima!). I saw the spanish Ultima, but that was the only one I saw.
There was a silver AC Cobra (or cobra replica) racing on the Saturday morning.
There were also plenty of accidents this wekend.

There was a fatal accident on Sunday August the 19th? It involved two cars and a bike.

I was the with my donky, saw something,
It is a general problem "accidents", the waiting (sorry It ....).
For g..kebab sake, first learn to drive, before you get there.
It is hell if you don't know the way around the place.
And it hapens...I know..

Where were you today Joop, we had a lovely trackday at Zandvoort, the track was 4 hours ours we from driving-fun.com do often organize things like that in a friendly way, we also do some meetings on the Ring were I drove the Hartge for the first time, and today @ Zandvoort you can join the club if you like, its free and a Dutch forum and all cars aloud

Yesterday I sold my donkervoort. Today the lucky guy picked it up.
To be honest.... I had little hope he would not come........ but he did.
