If I remember correctly, AutoCar put a GTO-3R on one of their 0-100-0 test's sometime a go and it did it in 13.89 sec, a head of a Merci Lambo.
I still have the mag somewhere and can quote the issue number etc if you want. I believe they also ran an M400 when that first came out and it did it in the early 13's.

And on the back of the M400 brochure the data quoted is 8 secs to 100 and stopping 4.1sec, total = 12.1 I still have the mag somewhere and can quote the issue number etc if you want. I believe they also ran an M400 when that first came out and it did it in the early 13's.

Go on ask me another, go on ask me...
(not a hard one though)

Going off the back of the brochure 0 - 100mph = 8.8 and 100 - 0mph = 4.1 That is a grand total of 12.9secs (you can tell I was good at maffs when I was at skool)

The brochure also said 310bhp but that was also wrong
I think the 9.4 to 100 by auto car was the right figure that is for the GTO (2.5).

Very clever Carl. However, I have two AutoCar mags with the 0-100-0 results for both cars in front of me.
The 3r was tested in a mag issued on the 30/07/2003. Its time was 13.89 sec (I can't believe I remembered that!!).
The M400 was tested in a mag issued on the 28/06/2005. Its time was 13.51 sec.
The break down for the times is as follows;
3R = 1.60 - 30mph, 3.90 - 60mph, 0.32 reaction time and 4.11 - 0mph.
M400 = 1.55 - 30mph, 3.72 - 60mph, 0.39 reaction time and 4.42 - 0mph.
Worthy of note is the fact that the M400 was just under the Ford GT which set a time of 13.17 sec.
They are both very good times, although I think you would have to thrash the balls off them to get those times!!
