What does any body know about Oko Puncture Free? Some kind of liquid solution which goes into the tyre, then inflated and should a nail get lodged in the rubber, simply pull it out, the liquid seals the hole instantly and on you go. it is said the solution last for the life of the tyre. The solution costs about £40 per bottle, depending on the size of the tyre about a bottle and a quarter are needed for FOUR performance tyres.
Any thoughts?
Seems to good to be true, however, I am informed the police wont touch it.
Their web sites is: www.oko.com
I would be interested in reading the replies.

Not sure whether it is the same product, but there was an article about this in the MX5 owners club mag a while ago.
From memory ( and it was a while ago ), someone tried it out on a couple of old tyres they were about to change ( low on tread ). They put the stuff in, "made a puncture" ( I think they fitted, then removed a wood screw ), and the tyre was "OK".
However, you don't know how it will stand the test of time. I do expect if it was that good we would here more about it.

Don't bother, carry a can of Tyre Weld, you can now repair the tyre after you have used it.

They used it in 'Wreck to Riches' on Discovery with that Dom guy. The guy had a 25 ltr tank of the stuff and a pre marked pump which he used to fill the tyre.
