V8S Ride Height

I'm in the process of fitting new springs to my V8S - and while I've taken measurements of the existing setup I reckon theres a fair chance that they are not as new anyway.
The only references I can find is to 140mm ground clearance - but I guess this is referring to the exhaust to road clearance, not a specific ride height specification.

(As an example before I took it apart the rear outrigger corners were approx 180mm from the ground).

Can anyone measure the distance of their outriger corners from the ground ? (Or other measurement points if you think they would be more approapriate).
I know I won't get it perfect but I'd at least like to get is reasonably close while I save my pennies for a geometry setup.
I assume I need measurements from a V8S - would the 2.8/2.9 models be identical ?

At normal ride height the damper length measured from the centers of the mounting bolts should be around 320mm (f) and 325mm (r), plus or minus 5mm. It's important that you measure this on ground which is more or less level, and is flat to within 5mm or better. You can't judge this with the naked eye, you need a spirit level and planks/boards to go under the low corner.

hi barkly, based on an S3 perspective the ground clearance as shown in the TVR handbook is 142mm, ie between lower side of door cill and ground, thus the exhaust is closer to the ground than this as it sits below the chassis rails.

I did see the ground clearance listed at that amount - but mine was miles higher before I took it to bits.
I thought the ground clearance would be from the lowest point - maybe the bottom of the exhaust or something?
