hi everyone, so theres just 2 vipers in the field this year (the least amount for some while) and a lot of people are writing them off as old and incapible. But they are far from that, they are INCREDIBLY reliable in races, and with the larbre competition cars 2003 spec front end/ suspension package it is a match for the ferraris, not sure bout the vettes, but im still unsure about the 550's capabilties to do 24hours, in fact i dont think ANY 550 will come in the top 2 or 3, but now ive said all of this just watch everything go wrong! i.e vipers retire and its a ferrari 1-2-3 but i dont think so and i wish people would see how good the 2003 spec cars are (larbre)

Yep,

Hail to the Viper old by todays standards, but with age comes experience and an ability to pace oneself.

Sounds just like endurance racing to me.

Most endurance racers are grey haired old sods like me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes Le Mans was most excellent fun. I bought a Viper t shirt but although there were thousands and thousands of people there I didn`t spot one other Viper t shirt.
Did loads of drinking, the pit walkabout bit and got invited by the French Corvette Club to do a lap of the circuit on the Saturday morning.
Even though I was only in a Z06 on the way home just North of Rouen got up to 160mph. I feel the need, the need for speed.
