Been reading about the mod to the 2.9 throttle linkage mod, but forget the electronic age and give us a mod to make the 2.8 throttle response better?
Come on you tech wizards, lets hear how you made your 2.8 go that little bit faster and no going downhill does not count!
Got decent leads, new dizzy and cap and K n N Filter fitted, straight through exhaust fitted (well pretty much so) and tuned to the nines so how do you make the throttle respond quicker without revving at 3.5 k on tickover?

Got any pics of the throttle linkages of a 2.8? It should be possible - all you're after is either pulling more throttle cable with less pedal travel or if there is a linkage involved then change the activation ratio.
Also I see you in Suffolk - maybe we should get a few S owners together and meet up somewhere in Norfolk/Suffolk.

Can't get pics til October, am spending the Summer down in the Falklands. Long story.
Yes after the ration to change on throttle linkage, as it needs lots of travel to get full throttle, by which time your foot and ankle are at an acute angle!
Yes in Suffolk, right on the boarder, I got to the Suffolk/Norfolk TVRCC meets and Essex TVRCC meets and, if that wasnt enough, go to Pistonheads meet in Norfolk. I am the only S at such meeting, with the exception of a V8 now and again. Would be great to have like minded cars to chat about.
I will be back at the beginning of Oct to start playing in my freshly painted S then.
