Been speaking to some Finnish mates of mine recently who told me about a race series in Finland that may interest some of you... it's called the everyman series; anyone (with a license) can take part, in any car they like (provided it has the safety mods) and the only entrance rule is that at the end of the series, you have to put the car up for sale for £300. It's televised, enormously popular and a right spectacle apparently. The tracks are sometimes dirt, sometimes tarmac, sometimes both. The winner is normally driving a modded Beetle or something like that (rear engine, rwd= loads of grip)... wish we had something like that over here, sounds like a riot.

Reminds me of that time on one of Clarkson's videos where they have a race between a boat, a skip and a shed!

That was in the UK I think but I haven't seen anything like it since.
