Right, I have struggled with this for over a week now. I need some advice to help me make my mind up....

I either take my T350C to Le Mans or go as a passenger in my mates Griff 500 limited edition....

Taking mine would be cool, but I quite fancy being the passenger this year, roof off, no driving and able to have a beer at Arnage on the Friday for the first time in three years....

So, in my position, what would you do?

Flasher - This is what you do:-

Drive down there and get totally smashed, then spend £200 in the `ba ba ba ba...' tent

There's a new girl waiting for you this year... she's a beauty as they say in Leicestershire

Then change from the bike in there to swapping with one of the TVR Car Club that have cycled down for charity - let them run your car back at 170mph and you can cycle it back for charity...

A simple yes or no Andy.............

You will be kicking yourself as a passenger when your mate starts hitting the loud pedal on the trip down. No contest, take the Tesco

You'll regret not driving the minute you get off the boat. As a passenger you can't really drink that much ( unless you've got a catheter fitted). And if your motoring ( as you should be) the passengers responsibiliy is to lean out of the car to check for oncoming traffic for overtaking manouvers

Totally agree with all of that!

And then you can do a few passenger rides too!

Just take the damn car and stop being a wuss!
You can still drink when there, just take it a little easy the night before you drive home.

but...do NOT try drinking and driving in Le Mans.
Le Plod in full force.

Exactly!

I'm driving again this year, I just dump the car when I get there and start drinking! It stays put until the drive home! And just have an "easy" night the night before driving home.

Sorted!

How about geeting insurance coverage on your mate's Grif for the w/e - if he is up for it and trusts you, could be the ideal solution....just a thought, its what we always do....

I'm going in my mates Griff. Doesn't bother me not driving as i have driven all the other years I have gone. At least I'm lucky enough to have the choice of two TVR's!!

Can't wait now.....

Wuss

Bad decision
Do not pass go, do not collect £200.
And 100 lines "I should drive to Le Mans like a sensible chap!"

Err, one thing I aint is a wuss.....

One of us has to drive and he's more up for it than me this year, so I'm quite happy to move aside and be passenger for a change.

Nothing wussy about wanting to get w*nkered all weekend mate!!!

I'm sorry I do apologise.

Thought it was a case of taking 2 cars or one car.

I'll get my coat
