Help replacing the heat sheild on diffuser

Anyone know what i can use to replace the heat sheild on the inside of the diffuser. Looking a bit tatty TBH and it annoys me everytime i open the clam. Can it be bought through Noble, or is there something else that can work as well but is cheaper (runs for cover)

Adam, can you glue it up? It eventially peels away and some people just glue it back in place. Replacement sheets should be readily available - try Demon Tweeks or similar.

If it the heat foil you need then I got mine from Cooltek and used spray glue to attach it.....worked a treat!

thanks all. Unfortunately it has peeled and curled and come into contact with the exhaust. Bit too charred to glue think when it has gone in for work the diffuser has been removed and hastily replaced without care Looked at demon tweeks earlier and they do silver and gold film, about 90 quid.
Is the cooltek you bought c6000 thermal cloth? did you cut it into triangular shapes or remove the diffuser and just lay it across the whole surface? sorry for so many questions.

I did mine about 4-5 months ago. I got a just over a 1m worth from Bill at the factory for 30 odd quid.

It's a real easy job. I stuck mine down with gasket sealant, as it gets stronger when heated.

I also wrapped the bars immediately under the exhaust (Done in the State's). The reason for that is to stop the paint bubbling from the extreme heat.

I took mine off and used one big sheet and put it back on, its the thermal cloth from Cooltek I used.

You may swear a bit if the screws are siezed in though......

Anyone ran for awhile without the diffuser? Wondering how unstable the car is without it? TBH when i ran the car without the fin i didnt notice any difference.

I think the factory mentioned (going back a bit now) that removal of the front splitter is fine, but the rear diffuser is a slightly more dodgy idea. Something to do with balance/downforce

As an aside, I wanted to repaint mine as it was looking a bit tatty - just how many screws are there fastening that thing? It'd take me all year with my Noble screwdriver if I wanted to remove it.....

AFAIR, something like 130 and some break off so need drilling out!

I drove mine around for a bit without the diffuser and didn't notice any difference

Thanks Adrian. I got Elite Motortune to take mine off while they sorted the brakes out. I will be refitting it though!

I cracked mine on a pot hole (don't ask). The new one from the factory had none of the intricate cut outs so I had to do it with a dremal and dimond blade, was a nightmare.

Don't break it!

We got a complete replacement from the factory just before Christmas cost <>£80. I had to take measurements and email them through. The old unit had got shabby due to getting wet. I have liberally applied lagger's tape to the new one, to try and minimise any water ingress.

One word of warning - don't polish the bodywork underneath the heat shield before sticking
