Stayed there a few years back, don't park too near the toilets/shower block, if it's in the same place as it was when we were there when it floods, which it will, the water runs down hill and you don't want your tent in the way

We're in Houx Annexe as per usual this year... Just look for the biggest flagpole around... We should also be wearing our special edition "England Tour of France 2003" t-shirts...
Houx Annexe is "grab what you can", so I'd also add to the previous advice to avoid being too near main thoroughfares and exits / entrances to the site, as the constant to-ing and fro-ing, added to the amount of dust kicked up if it's hot can be a pain in the asre...
Hi thanks for the advice we certainly dont want to be camping in a load of someones s***. Being near the taps sounds wise less trips to keep the beer cool. We are going Dover to Calais on the early ferry, hence should arrive about lunchtime although we might stop for a bite to eat when we are near. Is the site fairly full or quiet by thursday lunchtime. I hope you're not expecting to get there midday'ish if on the morning ferry from Newhaven as it arrives at 1pm local time
Acording to the website the ferry arrives at 10:30am local time, is this not right?
