Hi,
I just wanted to thank all those people that helped me get back out there after the 'incident' during qualifying on Saturday.
BIG thanks go to Steve and Dougie for doing tremendous work on the car rebuilding the body from a smashed lump, renewing the suspension, steering, exhaust, fire extinguisher ..... not only that the car was set up well enough to be competitive and move me to 5th in the chamionship... marvellous :-)
Cheers Tim for the mad dash from London with all the spare bits and the help rebuilding the brake system.
Thanks to all those that offered their services and those that parted with their fibreglass and/or metal plating!
And last but not least... to John (TVR) and Dave (Clerk of the Course) for letting me shake the car down with the MG's (what fun that was!)
A beer for all above at the next meet on June 21st/22nd at Castle Combe.
