Any one who has owned a TVR in Hants for over a year will remember the meets at the Hen and Chicken Pub on the east bound A31 Alton to Farnham road.
Back by popular demand a few of us have decided to resurrect these meets on the 1st THURSDAY OF THE MONTH from approx 8.0pm, we will do this for AUGUST and SEPTEMBER, to gauge reaction, and take it from there. In the past any thing up to 60 Tivs have turned upthumbup You DON`T have to be a member of the TVRCC to pop along with your P+J (hey most of us ain`t members anyway)
As usual there will be a run from WICKHAM SQUARE at Approx 7.0pm
for a scenic run up there, time to get out and enjoy the limited time and weatherbiggrin So far 8 owners have said they will pop along, not bad since it is short notice, stick your name down if you fancy it? driving

Well I am all new to the TVR family and I am torn between Hants and Surrey, now both are the firs Thursday of the month and both very close to home, I live on the surrey\hants\west sussex border. I want a club close to home so I can enjoy run outs so please could you let me know what areas you mainly cover for your run outs

THanks

I don`t think Surrey have there meet on the 1st of the month any more? Can someone confirm that?
We tend to go for a fast road run at least once a month, however the weather has had a large say in thatfrown Most of the lads live around the Southampton/Portsmouth area so we meet at Wickham north of Fareham as it is central and has access to the A32, we tend to go north and end up at Goodwood or somewhere similar, i have found a disused airfield (tarmac) in the New Forest which we need to get to some time driving
We will try to get some runs in while the weather holds.
If you more interested in the social side i.e meals, karaoke, wine tasting Ect contact Paul (Woody the Hants R.O) or log on to his web site for more details,he does a good job on that side of things, either way you will be most welcome at any meets thumbup

Thats alright Tony you can have him, we've got enough Chims in our club wink

www.tvrcc-hants.co.uk

Only joking hehe

We do a lot more than just the "social" side of things as Tony likes to try and stamp us with, such as Goodwood Breakfast Clubs, driving weekends to Nurburgring, Le Mans, Wales or Cheddar or other places we can dream up between us all, Tuition drives on Thruxton and others to come, feel free to contact me if u fancy joing the Hants TVR car club. I must stress Tony's runs are very fast and mainly for the single type blokes, I like to go on them myself when I'm in the doghouse hehe 300 members in Hants all over the place, not just the south, and we also hold a Sunday meet once a month then a drive out if its nice.

Thanks for the opportunity Tony wink

BTW the karaoke was a spur of the moment thing on the way to the Swiss Alps! Not planned frown why would I plan for people to hear me sing confused

Hi Neil,
Sadly I wont be there tonight, I've got to fit my boot back on along with the spoiler!

http://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/join.asp

Click on the above link to join up

We've also got a dedicated Hants TVRCC forum accessible from the home page http://www.tvrcc-hants.co.uk/ once you join, its not the busiest, but people still keep their eye on it, not forgetting the Sprint TVR club magazine once a month, (it gets slated a bit for too many ads on here, but at least its dedicated to just TVR), I write a column in it once a month for hants also, not to mention 3 other articles!

Our next meet is 19th August at The West Meon (A32/A272) at 11:45, feel free to come along, at 12:30 we then hope to drive to watch some Polo with the West Sussex TVRCC, all parked up by the playing field with picnics (and Pimms for the ladies!)smile
